A ‘Good’ idea Isn’t enough - you need a show that cuts through all that noise
I'm Tom Koenig, founder of Fresh Tracks Creative. For over 20 years, I've helped creators and brands like Emily Ratajkowski, Sony Music, Shea Couleé, Spotify and the BBC craft chart-topping, award-winning content. I turn seeds of ideas into globally successful shows that connect with audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. When you need someone who's done it at the highest level, you come to Fresh Tracks.
HOW WE CAN HELP YOU
With so many shows out there, the margin for error has never been smaller. Whether you or your talent want to go it alone or land the best possible network deal, you need the same thing: a show so compelling it cuts through the noise from episode one.
We are passionate about crafting shows that are more than just good—they’re a joy to watch/listen to. They stand out, and they become part of your audience’s regular routine.
Fresh Tracks Creative bridges the gap between "I have an idea" and "I have a show audiences crave." It’s 20+ years of experience working at the highest levels condensed into a guiding hand to help you through every step of the process, building teams, systems and infrastructure along the way.
From creators to global brands, corporations, and platforms—we work with anyone who has a story to tell and a desire to tell it well.

CASE STUDIES
Suzanne
Suzanne, a successful yet under-the-radar creative entrepreneur, runs multiple businesses in film, TV, and theatre. Despite her achievements, she lacked a large social following or public platform. She approached me with a creative itch to launch a podcast and shared seven diverse ideas she’d been considering.
During our first meeting, I focused on understanding her deeper motivations: why she wanted a podcast, what she hoped to offer her audience, and her overall goals. In that conversation, Suzanne casually mentioned a playwrights' retreat she hosts in Spain—a moment that sparked the perfect podcast concept.
Together, we developed a podcast idea that expanded on the retreat, blending elements from her initial ideas. This concept didn’t rely on Suzanne’s social following but instead tapped into a ready-made audience. It also positioned her to launch future projects once the podcast gained traction.
Disney Pixar
Disney Pixar approached me during my time at Sony Music to develop an official podcast for an upcoming movie.
I gathered a small team to start building some ideas based on the movie’s cast, crew, story, themes, and music. The goal was to create a podcast that could stand alone, engaging listeners whether or not they had seen the film.
We narrowed down our ideas and presented four strong concepts to the film company, who chose their favourite (while incorporating elements from others). We then set to work developing a full treatment for the show, and getting into production.
The final podcast put the movie’s core themes at its heart. Each episode featured an interview with a cast or crew member, centering each interview around key themes from the movie, guiding the conversation into deeper, personal territory. So rather than feeling like a promotional tool for a film, the show was a compelling and unique listening experience that naturally talked about the movie in relevant places.
