About
With over 20 years in the
podcasting industry on both sides of the Atlantic, I've navigated every facet of the field.
I co-founded We Are Grape, a premium podcast production company in London, opened the US offices for a UK-based production company, and served as Vice President of US Podcasts at Sony Music Entertainment in New York. (I also ran a club night, a record label, and DJed under the name Like-Minded People Presents…).
I've produced, executive produced, and edited award-winning podcasts such as Death of an Artist (2022), Nut Jobs (2020, currently being adapted for TV), and It Burns (2019).
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping renowned brands like Disney Pixar, Bose, Spotify, Discovery, Comcast NBC Universal, Microsoft, Pioneer, TD Bank, and Gumtree/eBay tell their stories.
Additionally, I’ve produced documentaries and weekly shows for platforms and broadcasters including Audible, BBC, Spotify, SiriusXM, and iHeartMedia.
My Story
From a young age, I’ve had a passion for entertaining and making people happy. As a kid, I was the joker among my friends, always finding ways to make them laugh. In university, I discovered DJing—the thrill of watching people dance to the music I played was intoxicating. After graduation, I was fortunate to land a job at a music plugging company, where I helped get songs played on radio and TV. After two years, I became a national radio plugger, but I realized I wanted to be the one choosing the music, not just persuading others to play it.
My journey continued as a Broadcast Assistant on several late-night specialist shows for BBC Radio 1. Over seven years, I worked my way up to Senior Producer, entertaining hundreds of thousands of listeners each week. While I loved this role, I craved a bigger challenge. In 2011, a colleague and I founded We Are Grape, a boutique production company dedicated to storytelling in music, merging my two passions.
By 2017, I recognized the burgeoning growth of podcasting in the U.S. and envisioned a future where audio and podcasting would thrive internationally. After five successful years with We Are Grape, I relocated to the East Coast to become SVP of U.S. Podcasts at Somethin’ Else, where I established their U.S. operations. Within a year, we partnered with Sony Music, and shortly thereafter, Somethin’ Else was acquired by Sony. As VP of U.S. Podcasts, I built and led Sony Music’s in-house podcast production team, growing from just one team member to 25 full-time staff, creating every type of podcast imaginable.
In 2023, I left Sony to re-establish my consulting business, Fresh Tracks Creative, where I continue to help others tell their stories through the power of audio.
